Will Ferrell Just Showed Off His Love For Longford In The Soundest Way Possible

Sarah

Unless you’ve been on a social media purge (in which case why are you reading this? Get back to your papyrus manuscript!), you’ll know that Will Ferrell and Mark Wahlberg are currently in Dublin to promote their new movie, Daddy’s Home 2.

They’ve been doing the usual media interview rounds, but yesterday Will Ferrell went the extra mile in legendary celebrity antics when he showed off his love of one Irish county…

The comedy star revealed a sneaky Longford GAA jersey underneath his jacket…

Turns out that Dermot and Dave from Today FM had given it to him two years ago, and being the sound lad that he is, Will surprised them by wearing it to yesterday’s interview.

Dermot and Dave’s radio producer Sean Reidy told Lovin.ie that the lads had given the Longford jersey (that had ‘Will’ on the back) to Will Ferrell two years ago when they were interviewing him for Daddy’s Home 1.

“When he turned up yesterday his jacket was closed and when he opened it, he was wearing that jersey we gave to him two years ago.

“He said he wears in while walking around LA sometimes, but it was a surprise to Dermot and Dave that he was wearing the jersey. He wore it for most of the day, even when he was recording the Late Late interview last night too!”

What an absolute gent.
