If you’re now humming the Addams Family theme then mission accomplished. If you’re not, let’s swiftly move on. Ever since the spooky clan first appeared in the New Yorker cartoons in the 1930s, they’ve become a staple of pop culture, particularly around Halloween time.
With a new animated feature hitting cinemas, the family is very much in the spotlight this year and thanks to the Pillo Hotel in Ashbourne Co. Meath. you’ll be able to get pretty close to them this Halloween.
Taking place on October 30 and 31, attendees will be greeting by Morticia, Gomez, Fester and Lurch before sitting down to a three-course meal – but not as you know it. According to the event page, plates will be filled with everything from devils on horseback, eye of newt, toe of frog, wool of bat and tongue of dog. Delish.
