After a long and hectic week in the office, a night of comedy is the perfect way to lift your spirit.

Whether it’s a fun evening out with pals or a unique date night, it’s the perfect way to shake off the stresses of the week and have a laugh with your mates.

Thankfully, this year’s Winter in Dublin programme is packed with incredible live entertainment, celebrating the best of the arts through highly-acclaimed theatre, unmissable musicals and brilliant comedy.

In November alone, some of Ireland’s most entertaining comedians will be performing in venues all around Dublin, offering an unbeatable night of laughs for anyone looking to get their comedy fix this month.

If you’re looking to catch a few gigs before the Christmas celebrations begin, here are some of the best comedy performances taking place this month…

5. Haunted & If These Wigs Could Talk at the Abbey Theatre

Catch a show from two comedic legends in one night! Until 3 December, Tara Flynn and Panti Bliss are running back-to-back shows in the Abbey Theatre.

With both of these artists playing a critical role in some of Ireland’s recent social change triumphs, Haunted & If These Wigs Could Talk will feature touching and hilarious anecdotes from both comics’ lives. Tara Flynn’s Haunted uses humour to reflect on grief, her campaign work and the offline impact of online abuse, while Panti Bliss’ show examines her mistakes, failures and triumphs through a salacious and hilarious lens.
