It’s time to start booking your Christmas experiences – here’s some of the best Ireland has to offer!

Holidays are coming, holidays are coming…

Okay, it may seem a bit early, but you’ve got to start thinking about booking Christmas events now. These experiences book up fast, so if you’re looking to treat yourself or the kids to a magical Christmas event, these are some of the best Ireland has to offer.

1. Tayto Park, Meath

The Christmas Experience at Tayto Park is already taking books for 2021. Your ticket will include all day entry to the park and the zoo for optimal fun. You can book from the 27th November, check out what’s available here.

2. Airfield Estate, Dublin

3. Rathwood, Carlow

It’s time to get ready for Candy Lane. Take a magical trip through the Rathwood Festive Forest on the Rathwood Train. Tickets start from €15 and you can learn more about it here.

4. Luggwoods, Dublin

The Enchanted Forest Walk at Luggwoods is exactly what you need to get into the Christmas spirit. The experience runs from the 27th November to the 23rd December. Prices start at €15.95 for kids. Get all the details here.

5. Santa’s Enchanted Castle, Wexford

The Santa’s Enchanted Castle at Enniscorthy features a tour, festive treats, and many more activities to partake in. Tickets are on sale for Santa’s Enchanted Castle now. The event will run from the 27th November to the 23rd December. Check out what to expect in the video below.

6. Elf Town, Galway

Located at Galway Racecourse, Elf Town is back after having to cancel last year due to the pandemic. Glitter Pants, Santa’s Head Elf, will guide your through all Elf Town has to offer. The experience is two hours long, occupies three buildings and four floors, and you’ll get to meet Santa, Mrs. Claus, and the reindeer. Tickets are already on sale, you can book here.

7. Oakfield Park, Donegal

This beloved spot in Donegal is home to fun games, Christmas shows and Santa’s grotto, as well as more magical events. The Santa Express runs from the 1st-23rd December. This event books up notoriously quickly, so if interested, get onto their site ASAP.

8. Causey Farm, Meath

The motto on the Causey Farm website reads “For Children, Young and Old, Who Love Christmas” and that’s what we like to hear. Tickets are on sale now – get into the magic of Christmas!

9. The Santa Experience, Various Locations

After difficulties last year with Covid-19, the Santa Experience will take all precautions to give you and your kids the safest meeting with Santa at his grotto. The elves have been working hard all year, and the good news is you can book your own Santa Experience HERE.

10. Cork North Pole

At the Cork North Pole, the elves believe in the magic of making Christmas memories with the whole family. Parents are encouraged to join in the fun, and children will get the chance to build the toys alongside the elves. Tickets are on sale now!

11. Winter Wonderland at Centerparcs

From the 8th of November til Christmas eve, this Longford woodland retreat is transformed into a festive village with lights, decorations and snow. Find out more and book your winter weekend HERE.

12. Wonderlights at Malahide Castle, Dublin

We’ve covered this magic event in more detail here, and it sounds like a must for anyone looking for an immersive festive experience.

12. Wild Lights, Dublin Zoo

Sure while we’re on the subject of lights, most of you already know this stunning annual event at Dublin Zoo is not to be missed. Find out more about it HERE.

13. Amber Springs Santa Experience, Wexford

14. Santa’s House Express at Palmerstown House

Ireland’s premiere drive-thru Christmas experience with unlimited funfair, enchanted forest and of course, Santa’s Grotto. Find out more and book your place HERE.

15. Avoca, Powerscourt

That’s right, tickets are officially on sale for the Santa Experience with Avoca. This event takes places at Avoca Powerscourt and is bound to be an epic one after Santa took a year off to rest up for the occasion. You can find more info HERE.

16. Clissmann Christmas Tree Farm, Rathdrum

Tickets are already on sale for this magical event. It will take place completely outdoors, and there will be games, trails to the North Pole post office, visits to Santa and much more! Book your tickets HERE.

17. Newbridge House, Fingal

Tickets go on sale today for this Santa event. There will be gifts and hot chocolate for those who visit the farm this December. You can check out more info HERE.

18. Santa’s Grotto, Dublin

Santa’s Grotto is returning to The Square in Tallaght this December, and the event has an adventure trail, a panoramic Ferris wheel, and of course, the grotto itself. It opens on 21st November.

19. Santa Real Life, Dublin

Santa returns to Dundrum Town Centre this winter; make sure you keep an eye out for him the next time you visit!
