Happy 61 days to Christmas. How many eves is that?
The build-up to the festive season seems to get earlier and earlier each year and while I really want to resist, I just can’t help myself.
The only remedy for the cold, dark evenings is some fairy lights and a mug of hot chocolate so all aboard the Polar Express.
Kildare Village is definitely in line with my way of thinking having just announced a very special event.
Taking place Friday, November 1 at 6pm, Dublin woman Vogue Williams will be on hand to DJ and launch Christmas at Kildare Village.
Guests will be treated to a preview of the popular shopping outlet’s spectacular new light show Enchanted Lights.
Described as a “spellbinding interactive festival of colour, light and sound”, it’s sure to take centre stage.
Produced by Algorithm, it will consist of five illuminating experiences, a Lawn of Lights and a light spectacle on the village’s Grey Abbey.
If only my own home light display looked so good.
Running until the end of January 2020, Enchanted Lights will take place from 4pm daily and admission is free.
