Hook Lighthouse in Co Wexford is definitely up there as one of the prettiest sights in the country.

A visit to this stunning spot should be on your summer 2019 bucket list and you can make it extra special by booking on to one of their Experience Tours.

A special Sunset Tour and Food Experience, where you’ll get to take a guided tour of the oldest operational lighthouse in the world, will take place on Saturday, August 17 as part of National Heritage Week.

You can enjoy Irish mead, prosecco, cocktails, fresh tea and coffee, as well as a selection of homemade canapés and desserts while watching the stunning sea views from the balcony of the tower.

But don’t worry if you can’t make it that evening, because they run a number of these tours which can be booked via the Hook Lighthouse website.

They also run a Sunrise Tour Experience for all you early birds out there, where you’ll get to enjoy a bucks fizz on arrival along with the tour.

You can find more details and book tickets for each event via the Hook Lighthouse website here.
