Aye Cork to reopen this weekend for the first time in 2022

Katy Thornton

After a long nine weeks, Aye Cork reopens on Friday!

Like many other restaurants and bars at Christmas time, Aye in Cork decided to close for the foreseeable future after a staff member tested positive. What was initially meant to be a short-term thing became “a small hibernation” as the Cork spot extended their closure. Given the rapid spread of Omicron at the start of the year, we can see why.

However, this weekend, for the first time since December 2021, Aye Cork will reopen to patrons. And they’ve got some new items on their menu they’ve been teasing over on Instagram.

On Friday, March 4th, they’re back in business, with a brand new food and drinks menu to boot. Aye will host “a tasting extravaganza like no other“, providing samples of their new cocktails and nibbles.

Aye is based on Anglesea Street in Cork – we wish them all the best as they reopen for locals and tourists alike.
