Dingle’s My Boy Blue back this weekend after six week break

One of Dingle’s hottest cafés is back in business this weekend.

My Boy Blue took a six week break over January and February, but they’re officially reopening this weekend, starting on Friday 18th February. The takeaway-only café is renowned for its amazing toasties, that brings tourists and locals alike through its doors. I myself have tried these delicious toasties and can whole-heartedly say they are worth the hype. My personal fave was the Buffalo Chicken Melt (chef’s kiss). If toasties aren’t your thing (first off, how dare you) their eatery also serves pancakes, avocado toast, and a brunch burrito. Check out their menu HERE.

In 2017, Dubliner Stephen Brennan and Dingle local Amy O’Sullivan launched My Boy Blue. Since then the café has become award-winning, featuring in the McKennas’ Best in Ireland Guides consecutively from 2018 to 2021.

While the kitchen will remain closed until the following weekend (put a toastie date in the diary for the 25th February), My Boy Blue will return this weekend with coffee and treats.

You can find My Boy Blue at Holyground, Dingle.
