Scrumdiddly’s will soon add Cork to its ever-growing list of locations.

The iconic Irish ice cream shop has announced that it will open a parlour in Brown Thomas in Cork city.

A Brown Thomas Instagram post teased: “Get The Scoop. You’ve heard it here first – the iconic Irish ice cream parlour, Scrumdiddly’s is coming in store soon. Stay tuned for further updates.”

Established in Donabate in Dublin in 2012, Scrumdiddly’s proved incredibly popular with customers and went on to open shops in Dún Laoghaire in 2014 and Kilkenny in 2017.

Scrumdiddly’s went west last October to open a branch in Galway and now the home of the Scrummy Tub is heading south for a shop in the Rebel County.

Leesiders will hope that the parlour opens in time for summer so that they can cool down with a delicious tub or ice-cold milkshake.

The famous Scrummy Tubs can be made with over 7,000 combinations and Scrumdiddly’s also serves crepes, waffles and other hot treats.
