What an incredible honour. Galway based pizzeria The Dough Bros journeyed to Naples for the 50 Top Pizza event, which contrary to the name listed the 100 Best Pizzerias globally.
And it was a fruitful visit, as Dough Bros won 79th best pizzeria in the world, no mean feat with you think of the amount of pizza places worldwide. When competing with pizzerias from Italy and New York, that an Irish restaurant made it onto the list is incredible and a huge achievement for the Dough Bros.

The Galway pizza spot was delighted with their win, sharing the fantastic news on Twitter.

The Best 100 pizzerias is not the only award ceremony Dough Bros have been invited to. They also secured the award for best pizza in Ireland and achieved the 16th best pizza in Europe.
