After three years, Mountain Road Kitchen is shutting up shop.

Mountain Road Kitchen, known for their delicious vegan food, is closing after three years. Owner Ali Haslam took to Instagram to share that their last day in business would be the 14th May. While Moycullen locals will be sad to see it go, Haslam speaks of the closure as a positive change.

The caption states:

To everyone who loves what we do here, Thank you for the past 3 years!
This business venture is coming to an end soon. Our last week will be ending Saturday 14th May.
After 3 great years working on or in this little building I am happily choosing to close To spend time with my baby when it arrives.”

Haslam took the time to thank everyone who supported Mountain Road over the lockdowns, with the hopes of “another project or venture” developing in the future.

There’s still a few more weeks of trading left for the vegan spot; they open Wednesday to Saturday 12pm to 4pm (and until 6pm on Fridays). If you’re a budding vegan, or just want to trial it out, Mountain Road do a vegan cheeze toastie with aubergine and kimchi that sounds divine.
