If you thought we wouldn’t use this opportunity to trial every egg pun in the book, then you would be wrong. On Thursday, 28th April, there’s a new egg-ceptional brunch bar coming to The Black Market in Cork. The Egg Bar will serve a selection of breakfast, brunch, and lunch bits, all surrounding, you guessed it, eggs.

The Egg Bar promises to be the best destination for all your breakfast, brunch, or lunch needs. The little they have teased on their Instagram account is enough to send any egg fiend into a hangry state. While so far we’ve seen the classic dishes such as poached eggs and avo, and eggs benny, we’ve also spied a scampi eggs Benedict which looks fairly top notch. A combination of foods we wouldn’t have thought of, but just might work.

The Black Market Cork, based on the Monaghan Road, is dog friendly and has free parking; as if you needed anymore reason to visit their newest brunch bar for some expertly made eggs. It opens daily 10am to 8pm.
