We love the inclusivity.

Kali Coffee Bar, located on Upper Salthill Road, just got even better by making efforts to become a deaf friendly café. In the below video staff member Laura demonstrates some Irish Sign Language. Their caption explains that they, “really want Kali to be a space for everyone to enjoy coffee.”

This is a fantastic step in the right direction, going the extra mile here to be inclusive to all customers. Laura shared what she learnt with her colleagues, particularly in the coffee basics and day to day chit chat. In the video below, we see how Laura signs “What coffee would you like?” as well as the response “I love a flat white“.

We’re delighted to see a gorgeous spot such as Kali Coffee Bar make a real effort to be more inclusive and deaf friendly. Only more reason to pay them a visit for your morning cuppa sometime soon.

Kali is a dog friendly café that opened in January 2021. They open weekdays 8am to 4pm (except for Tuesdays when they close) and weekends 9am to 4pm.
