Great news for Kit Kat lovers, as they are launching two new flavours in Ireland very soon

Rory Cashin

Important information for all of you Kit Kat Kompletionists!

Are they a biscuit, or are they a bar?

We’re not the ones to answer this question, despite our years – YEARS! – of experience eating them, and every variation of them.

This week, Nestlé Ireland have announced that two new flavours of the bars (biscuits? No, we’re going with bars…), which reminds us that in Japan, these bars come in some… how do we put this?… very interesting flavours.

Grilled potato, blueberry cheesecake, brandy and orange, chocolate and banana, soy bean, pumpkin, French salt… the list goes on and on, and quite frankly, we’d be willing to try each and every one of them.

Anyways, on with the new flavours launching here… So we’ve got some good news and some bad news on that front.

Bad news first: the two new flavours are replacing the Cookies & Cream and Lemon Drizzle varieties of two-finger Kit Kit, so if you enjoy those, may be wise to stock up on them now!

And now on to the good news: the new flavours sound fantastic, one being Honeycomb, and the other being Chocolate Hazelnut Spread.

Maria McKenna, the Confectionery Marketing Manager at Nestlé Ireland, said: “We’ve experienced huge demand for our 2-finger KitKats this year and we know that fans love to try new flavours from the brand. We think our Honeycomb and Chocolate Hazelnut Spread varieties really hit the spot, and we’re sure they’ll become popular new additions to the range.”

The bars will be available in the multipack of 9 bars at most Irish retails from November.
