For a shortlist, it’s not that short but the nominees for the sixth annual Just Eat National Takeaway Awards have been announced.
Voting is officially open to decide the best takeaways in Ireland, with 74 restaurants in with a chance to win across a wide variety of categories.
Three new categories have been introduced this year – Best Takeaway Sustainability, Best Takeaway Vegan and Best Takeaway Breakfast.
Commenting on the shortlist announcement, Amanda Roche-Kelly, Managing Director at Just Eat Ireland said: “We’re thrilled that the Just Eat National Takeaway Awards will be returning for its sixth year and would like to congratulate all of our restaurant partners who have been selected as finalists. This year we are delighted to acknowledge those within the industry that are taking steps to make their businesses more sustainable in our new Best Takeaway Sustainability category, while also recognising the expansion of our Just Eat menu through the introduction of the Best Takeaway Vegan and Best Takeaway Breakfast categories.
