Cork’s speciality cafe count continues to grow.

There’s no shortage of excellent places for a flattie in Cork City, with micro-roasters as far as the eye can see – but Cork Coffee Roasters were always the real trailblazers of the rebel county’s coffee scene. No trip to the city is complete without a trudge up the hill to their Bridge Street spot. They pour a perfect cup every time.

Since opening their Bridge Street cafe back in 2008, Cork Coffee Roasters have continued to grow with their central French Church Street location, which opened in 2015 and their Anglesea Street spot which opened just last year. Now the family’s getting even bigger, with a fifth spot for CCR at Saint Lukes Cross.

A little further out of the city than its three sister cafes, and no doubt a very welcome addition for coffee lovers in the area. Also ideal for anyone looking to grab a coffee before heading to Kent Station. You know what they say, your train ride is only as good as the coffee you bring on it. (Okay, that’s a saying I just made up but I think we should make it a thing, tbh).

All Cork Coffee Roasters locations are open Monday – Friday 7:30-5, Saturdays 8-5 and Sunday 9-5.
