There’s a cute new cafe open inside Bray Bowl

Fiona Frawley

Many a Saturday of my youth I spent on the dance mats and trying and failing to knock at least one bowling pin down, and now there’s a whole new reason to visit Bray Bowl.

It’s already a solid option for date night and kids parties, and who could ever forget BYO Bowl? (Not sure if it’s still a thing but it lives forever in my heart). Now there’s a new cafe to check out in Bray Bowl, and it looks delish.

It’s ideally located for picking up a ho cho or flattie before a walk along the seafront. Their coffee comes from local Wicklow roasters Pure Coffee (who also provide beans for Bray faves Catalyst and Brew with a View), and if you’re in the mood for something savoury, they’ve got you covered. By way of these unreal looking pizzas.

Coffee, pizza, a chance to show off your skills on the lanes (or lack thereof, in my case) – what more could you honestly ask for? It’s the dream set up. Pay the guys a visit Monday-Thursday 11am-6pm, Friday-Saturday 11am-11pm and Sunday 11am – 6pm.

The perfect spot to hit up of a weekend by the seaside!
