Easter egg hunt

Who doesn’t love a good Easter egg hunt in fairness?!

Easter Sunday is just under four weeks away and Cadbury’s has lots planned to celebrate. Announcing details of the Cadbury Worldwide Hide, it’s essentially a virtual Easter egg hunt that anyone (big or small) can partake in.

Easter egg hunts… fun when you’re a child, and arguably even more so when you’re an adult. Anyone who tells you you’re too old to partake should be put firmly back in their place… 2021 is hard enough without that kind of negativity. Besides, how could you outgrow chocolate?! I rest my case.

Giving people the chance to hide a Cadbury Easter egg anywhere in the world for someone they love, the idea is to help people feel connected while staying apart. Using Google Maps Street View, you can share a personalised clue with the person you’re hiding the egg for – one that will mean something to them and help them find the virtual egg. Play for free or go all out and have a real Cadbury Easter Egg delivered to your loved one’s door.

Speaking of the idea, Cadbury Ireland brand manager, Maighréad Lynch, said:

“As we enter the second year of our campaign ‘Show you care, hide it’, we are excited to connect people all over Ireland, especially at a time where physical connections are restricted.”

Open as of March 9th, the Cadbury Worldwide Hide website will be up and running until March 29th – with the ‘free to play’ option extending until April 5th. You can find out more here.
