Need some inspo for where to eat this weekend? The winners of the Irish Restaurant Awards 2018 have been announced just in time.
Now in its tenth year, the awards have continued to grow in popularity with over 90,000 online nominations submitted for Irish restaurants and hospitality businesses this year.
Over 1,000 restaurateurs and staff attended the event which celebrated the achievements and standards of the industry of the last 12 months.
There were 21 categories including the newest category this year, Best ‘Free From’, which was won by Sweet Beat Café in Sligo.
Etto in Dublin 2 was named Restaurant of the Year at the Irish Restaurant Awards 2018 at the Clayton Burlington Road hotel last night.
Jess Murphy, of Kai Galway took home the Best Chef accolade with her philosophy of fresh, organic produce from local suppliers to create daily menus bursting with flavour, texture and colour.
Etto restaurant in Dublin, is a previous winner of the Irish Restaurant Awards Best Casual Dining and Best Wine Experience awards.
