If you fancy taking a chance at your luck though (note: we only advise you chancing this if you actually have the moolah to pay for the meal incase you lose!), a restaurant in Galway is giving people the chance to flip a coin for a free meal. 

Heads you win, tails you pay. Simple. 

The award winning art deco bar and restaurant Tribeton launched their new promotion Flipping January to banish the January blues and inject a little fun into affordable socialising. 

Duck and Scallops grace the list of starters while mains spoil with seafood and chargrilled beef cuts – who wouldn’t wanna try blag all of this?!

Until the end of the month, groups of 2-6 people dining for dinner Monday to Wednesday between 6-8pm can flip a coin with their server to win their food bill for free.
