It caused a frenzy when it first hit menus last year.
The Chicken Big Mac has returned to the McDonald’s menu, but fans will need to be quick to make sure they don’t miss out.
The Chicken Big Mac is a twist on the classic Big Mac millions know and love with its reassuringly recognisable triple layered bun – plus two 100% chicken breast patties in a crispy coating, a slice of cheese, lettuce, pickles, and the deliciously world-famous inimitable Big Mac sauce.
The burger caused a frenzy when it first launched in February 2022, leading it to sell out in just 10 days.
News of the re-release will therefore be music to the ears of the fans who couldn’t get their hands on the highly anticipated burger before it left the menu.
The burger hit menus at Maccies restaurants across the country on Wednesday 29 March.
Once it’s gone though, it’s gone, so make sure you don’t miss out.
It’s not the only new addition to the menu either. Those who still prefer beef to chicken will be able to enjoy the new Steakhouse Stack, featuring of two 100% beef patties, a slice of cheddar cheese, crispy onions, red onions, and lettuce topped with a creamy peppercorn sauce, all in a freshly toasted bun.
Thomas O’Neill, Head of Marketing, McDonald’s UK and Ireland said: “We are excited to bring the Chicken Big Mac back to the UK and Ireland. It sold out in under a week last year so we know so many people will be as delighted as we are that it’s returning this Spring.
“The Steakhouse Stack is another fantastic development from our Menu team, the taste of steak and peppercorn sauce captured perfectly in this newest addition to our menu – delicious!”
Meanwhile, Mozzarella Dippers are also returning to the menu, and ahead of Easter, the Cadbury Creme Egg McFlurry and Cadbury Caramel Egg McFlurry will also be making a seasonal return.
