Need to know information on a miserable day.

Staycation season is in full swing and, as is tradition with an Irish summer, the weather isn't exactly cooperating. Come rain or shine though, one fact remains the same - if you're planning a road trip, you need to know where you'll be stopping for coffee. And who wants to get out of the car on a day like this? Luckily, we've done our research and have you covered. Whatever route you're taking, we're here to ensure you pick up the perfect cup to accompany you on the journey.

Here are all the drive-thru spots we're aware of, county by county. Let us know if we've missed out one you're aware of and we'll add it to the list!

Speciality coffee is accompanied by fresh bakes, sausage rolls and ice cream at this spot on the N68, the main route between Ennis and Kilrush.

With two locations to the west of Cork City, either of the Box'd drive thru spots are perfect for stopping off when traveling to West Cork, or even from Cork to parts of Kerry.

Not technically drive-thru but most definitely drive-by, Yer Man's is located right on the road between Letterkenny and Glenties, with plenty of space to park up and grab a cup. An ideal stop-off point during scenic Donegal drives.

Smack Coffee, Sandyford Road

Handily located right off the M50 at Sandyford, Smack Coffee is an ideal spot for D16-ers to stop off at before embarking on longer journeys.

Chroí Coffee, Kilternan

Tucked away on the Enniskerry Road you'll find the dotey Chroí, a one-stop shop for toasties, juices and coffee. Insider tip - don't leave without trying one of their homemade jambons.

Tamp and Grind, Clane

Just outside Clane on the Celbridge side you'll find Tamp and Grind, serving up Bad Habits coffee and vegan treats. Ideal for your morning commute.

Soul Shot, Naas

A hop, skip and a jump away from the M7/M9 merge outside Naas you'll find Soul Shot, ideally located by these two major routes and a great place to hit up ahead of trips in the Waterford or Limerick directions.

The Coffee Shack, Castlebar

Tasty drive thru brews on the outskirts of Castlebar on Station Road. Perfect for trips between Galway and Mayo, Mayo and Roscommon and beyond.
