If you’re partial to a sneaky sachet of sauce (or twelve) when you visit McDonald’s, you may have noticed that they don’t serve sachets of one of the basics…. mayonnaise.
Yep, despite including mayo as an ingredient in the massively popular McChicken sandwich, it is not possible to request some sachets of mayo on the side.
For many, mayo is the best condiment of all… so what gives?
Well, the answer is simple.
The folk at Cosmopolitan asked the fast food restaurant straight up why you can’t get a sachet of mayo and the simple answer is… customers don’t want them.
A spokesperson said: “What we offer in our restaurants is based on customer demand.
“We don’t currently have any plans for mayonnaise to be made available.”
Well, the people of the internet are up in arms.
Soooo appaz @McDonalds don’t offer sachets of mayo because there isn’t enough of a demand for them.
Sorry what? #GiveMeMayoWithMyChipsKeepMeBurning #IHateKetchup
