The First Ever National Dessert Festival Is Coming To Ireland This Summer

Sarah

Our dreams are made up of sticky toffee buns, ice cream cones dripping with caramel sauce, cream choux cakes and delicate eclairs laced in melted chocolate – sweet stuff indeed.

So the news that Irish restaurants and bakeries will be hosting a nationwide Dessert Festival is making us drool already.

The Dessert Festival will be held from 23 to 29 July, with special treats and workshops

Organisers of the festival say: “Following the huge success of our previous festivals and the overwhelming support from businesses and visitors alike it was an easy decision for us to launch our newest event: Ireland’s very own Dessert Festival.

“The festival promises to appeal to everyone from the sweet-toothed dessert enthusiast to the master confectioner. We hope to showcase some of the finest desserts and allow for a few surprises along the way.”

Businesses can choose to get involved here and a full event schedule will be released in a few weeks. YUM.
