The First Ever Poutine Restaurant Has Just Opened In Ireland – Get Ready To Drool

Sarah

Food lovers and Canadians currently living in Ireland, listen up: your day just became a whole lot better.

Ireland’s first ever poutine restaurant has come to Galway with Paddy’s Poutine. What started out as a food truck 18 months ago has now found a permanent home on Dominick Street in the city centre and we’re drooling just thinking about it.

So, what the feck is poutine?

Our good friend Wikipedia says the official description is “a dish originating from the Canadian province of Quebec consisting of French fries and cheese curds topped with a brown gravy.”

Basically, Paddy’s Poutine serves fresh hand cut fries, topped with squeaky cheesy curds and smothered in a special gravy mix.

The ultimate hangover food has hit G-town

And they even do an outrageously indulgent Poutine Burger. Yes, those are happy tears in our eyes.

Paddy’s Poutine is open seven days a week from 12-10pm. Get your poutine fix ASAP.
