There’s A Deadly Food Festival Happening In Galway This Weekend And It Sounds Unreal

Shirleydonlon

The Galway Food Festival is returning this weekend, and if it’s anything like the previous years, it’s going to be an unreal food-filled weekend.

The five-day event, which is running from Thursday 29 March until Monday 2nd April, will host more than 100 different food-based events.

An Easter themed afternoon tea, a chocolate lock-in, a boozy brunch and a sangria fiesta are just some of the unreal events that will be taking place across the weekend.

Superfood facials, a chocolate tour and tasting and a street BBQ are also on the agenda.

It’s the festival’s seventh year running, but this year is a little bit more special.

This year Galway is the host to the 2018 European Region of Gastronomy, meaning that those attending the event can expect this year’s festival to be even more impressive than before.

With a load of Galway’s best hotels, restaurants, cafés and bars taking part in this year’s festival, it aims to prove that Galway is one of Europe’s best places to go for a bit of grub.

And, to be honest, we couldn’t argue with that.
