Galway restaurants introducing innovative new feature ahead of reopening

innovative ordering system

Galway favourites Tartare and Cava Bodega will be making use of an innovative new QR system that will help customers browse the menu online – eliminating the need for handheld versions that would have to be sanitised after each use.

Like many other restaurants and businesses in the hospitality industry, both Tartare and Cava Bodega are preparing to reopen early next month.

Headed up by Galway restauranteur JP McMahon, Tartare will reopen on Tuesday, June 30th with their famous wine bar and sister restaurant Cava Bodega to follow suit on Thursday, July 2nd.

Revealing that they will be making use of an innovative new ordering system, customers will be able to access menus via QR codes on each table. Replacing handheld versions of menus – which would need to be sanitised after each customer – the new method is a much more hygienic way for customers to browse what’s on offer.

Helping customers to cut down on wasted time when ordering, the idea is likely to expedite the whole process. Gearing up to welcome locals back with open arms, both Tartare and Cava Bodega are already taking bookings through their websites.
