The Galway Races has confirmed that it will host a three-day festival over the bank holiday weekend (October 26 to 28).
Returning for a second year, the standout event is sure to be the Race In Pink fundraising day in aid of breast cancer research.
Last year’s festival raised over €95,000 for The National Breast Cancer Research Institute, a charity organisation that supports breast cancer research.

Combining Breast Cancer Awareness month with a day at the races, guests will enjoy all the usual antics of a day out in Galway. There will be live music, prizes and plenty of craic.
The 2019 edition will have “an exciting new look and feel” according to organisers. Panoramic views of the racetrack, a drinks reception and a three-course lunch with wine.
Bound to be a very glamorous event, it’s a great excuse to break out your fineries and get the gals together for a good cause.
