The Galway Races has confirmed that it will host a three-day festival over the bank holiday weekend (October 26 to 28).
Returning for a second year, the standout event is sure to be the Race In Pink fundraising day in aid of breast cancer research.
Last year’s festival raised over €95,000 for The National Breast Cancer Research Institute, a charity organisation that supports breast cancer research.

On Sunday, October 27th the @galwayraces_official will host ‘Race in Pink’ as part of the Galway Races October Festival for the National Breast Cancer Research Institute. The team at Galway Racecourse have put together a fantastic hospitality package to create a fun-filled day for those attending. Guests will experience the ultimate day at the races with panoramic views of the racetrack from the iconic Killannin Stand while enjoying a drinks reception followed by a delicious three-course lunch with wine. There will be plenty of entertainment prizes galore plus a few surprises. Combining Breast Cancer Awareness month with a day at the races, guests will enjoy all the usual antics of a day out in Galway. There will be live music, prizes and plenty of craic.
The 2019 edition will have “an exciting new look and feel” according to organisers. Panoramic views of the racetrack, a drinks reception and a three-course lunch with wine.
