Only one more month until this Kerry Pumpkin Farm is open for harvest

Katy Thornton

Is there anything more autumnal than traipsing through a pumpkin patch?

The answer is no, there is not. The Killarney Pumpkin farm will be back on the 1st October and you don’t want to miss out. The farm is located just outside Kerry in the Headford hills. You can collect pumpkins for carving as well as gourds for Halloween decorations.

If pumpkin picking isn’t your thing, there’s a ton more activities to choose from. You can go through the corn maze, hear ghost stories at the  haunted ghost bus, or if that’s too scary for you, meet the farm’s alpacas.

There are also plenty of spots for refreshments on the farm. The Patch pop up serves Halloween themed food and beverages while you’re pumpkin picking. The Farm Café is great for some baked goods while The Farm Food Bus provides a proper feed.

Admission is €12.50 per person and there are family bundles available. Tickets are available from the 15th September on their website.
