January, you’ve been LONG.
Three weeks into the worst month of the year, we’re stony broke and our health goals are still feeling like an uphill climb.
If you fancy a little mid-weak break from the strug of life, there might be a little something to tickle your fancy on the shelves at Aldi right now.
The scamps have only gone and stocked some low-cal, low alcohol wine. And…. it’s CHEAP. We’re talking less than a fiver.
Aldi’s ‘Featherweight’ wines are available in a choice of Pinot Grigio or White Zinfandel, and contain around half the calories of your average glass of wine.
At only 5.5% ABV, and under 60 calories a glass, each 75cl Featherweight wine is priced €4.49.
Here are the two options:
Featherweight White Zinfandel (ABV 5.5%), €4.49
This Featherweight Italian Pinot Grigio has fresh, crisp citrus notes with white peach aromas, as well as a full flavour with lasting finish. Per 125ml serving, it contains just 52 calories.
Enjoy with: Salads and seafood
Featherweight White Zinfandel (ABV 5.5%), €4.49
The Featherweight White Zinfandel has a vibrant pink colour and luscious, fresh strawberry aromas.
Enjoy with: This is the perfect aperitif and a great companion to fruity desserts.
We’ll be stocking the fridge for guilt-free hump-day drinkies.
