PIC: Aldi Confirm Chair That SOLD OUT In Seconds In Australia Is On Way To Ireland

Darragh Berry

We love a good bargain and we feel like this could be the bargain of the century, that’s if its sale in Australia is anything to go by.

News.com.au reported at the time that if you were 30 seconds too late inside the front door of the Aldi stores, you had probably already missed out on the bargain of a life time.

A grey, $199 Fabric Accent Rocking Chair sent shoppers into an absolute frenzy and now the same chair will be going on sale here in Ireland.

It’s a designer-look lounge item which people were buying in their droves, and it sold out in just half a minute in Oz.

Aldi Chair

The popular Accent Rocking Chair is inspired by Pottery Barn’s cult Convertible Rocker but is going for a lot cheaper.

It goes on sale in Irish stores on Thursday, April 19 and is set to be just as popular here as in Australia, going for a palatable €169.99

Group Buying Director at Aldi Ireland Finbar McCarthy told The Irish Sun: “At Aldi, we are proud to be in a position to offer parents excellent quality baby and toddler products for the best value in the market.

“We are particularly excited to bring the Accent Rocking Chair to Ireland, following on from its success last year when sold out in our Australian stores in record time.”

Will you be buying? Do you think this will be as big a success as it was down under? Let us know in the comments.
