According to their website, this is a fantastic opportunity for any artist who is "committed to developing or working in the Irish language." Oileán recognises the obstacles faced by working artists, particularly those who are parents, which is why they "will provide a bursary of €10,000, housing to match the family’s specific needs, tailored support and studio space."
