Bray to turn up the heat with the return of their Beach BBQ Festival this month

Katy Thornton

Looking for some fun in the Irish sun?

Look, if it’s anything like the beach party Mia went to in the Princess Diaries, I’m all here for it (minus the paps and stupid Josh using her for publicity) (her foot didn’t even pop!). The Bray Seafront BBQ Beach Festival is making its grand return this year after last year’s festivities and it’s set to have sizzling activities, and plenty of good food.

Some of what you can expect from the Bray Beach BBQ Festival is a funfair (with bumper cars), DJ sets, games (including spin the bottle and a hot wings challenge), live music, and of course, barbecues and food trucks. There’ll also be barbecue demos where the masters show you the tricks of the trade.

There’s free admission into the festival, although you will be charged for food and the funfair activities. The event takes place from 11am to 7pm on both Saturday 22nd and Sunday 23rd. This event is weather permitting, so fingers crossed July is good to us when it comes to sunny skies and hot temperatures.

If you’d like to be a vendor at the festival, you can find all the information you need HERE.
