Mullingar twins Ben and Louis McPhillips will officially turn on the radio station for 2023, after winning a competition run by Christmas FM to find a very special helper (or in this case, helpers) to visit the studio and do the honours.
The much-loved station will play all your favourite Christmas hits, around the clock, until that oh so special day in December. Listeners can look forward to hearing the classics from Mariah Carey, Michael Bublé, Britney Spears, The Pogues, Wham!, and more - they will even have newer Christmas hits at their disposal.

Meanwhile the radio station presenters will be spreading lots of seasonal joy and fun, keeping the spirits of the nation merry and bright as we embark on the big countdown to Christmas Day.
Christmas FM is now in its 16th year, and has raised over €3 million for a range of charities since it began broadcasting. This year, the radio station will continue with their hugely successful ‘Magic of Christmas’ appeal, raising funds for Barnardos, Barretstown, Make-A-Wish Ireland and a range of children’s charities around Ireland making a difference in local communities through Community Foundation Ireland.Cavan 92.8 FM
