Doing This Random Thing Can Really Help To Boost Your Immune System

When it comes to boosting our immune system, the usual go-to is a bag full of oranges and a tub of vitamin C supplements.

That’s all well and good, but what if you could help to build up your immune system by having a little sing-song to yourself?

Well it’s good news, folks.

According to Women’s Health, it’s been scientifically proven that both singing and listening to music for half an hour are linked to lower cortisol levels.

When elevated, Cortisol (also known as the stress hormone) can suppress your immune function. 

As well as lowering stress levels, playing and listening to music is associated with an increase in the antibody immunoglobulin A. 

This antibody acts as a first line of defence against infections.

If you’ve been lucky enough to escape the dreaded bout of flu currently going around so far, now might be a good time to warm up your voice.
