I know, I know – why bother with a planner if you’re not planning on going anywhere? Well, my friends, a planner can be used as much more than just a way to keep track of your weekly schedule.
More and more people have been turning to journaling in recent years, with many crediting it as one of the best methods they’ve found in helping them deal with difficult situations, emotions and thoughts. A hobby that basically encourages people to write down whatever it is that comes to mind, journaling is a simple way of allowing you to free up precious brain space and work through your worries at the same time.
One of the few hobbies we have that doesn’t involve looking at a screen, it’s also a great excuse to make you put your phone down and give your eyes (and thumbs) a break from the scrolling – we’re all guilty of it, especially these days.
Naturally, any old notebook you have will do the job nicely – paper is paper after all – but that being said, having something beautiful to fill your thoughts with definitely helps keep the momentum going when motivation is at a low.
Below are eight different options to get you started on your journaling goals this year.
The Head Plan
Probably one of the most well-known wellness journals out there, The Head Plan is an ideal starting point for both beginners and more avid journal users alike. Each one contains over 280 pages to keep you inspired, motivated, focused and driven.
