Everyone’s favourite tiny Irish festival is back this year – with a bit of a twist

Fiona Frawley

Another Love Story is one of Ireland’s most intimate festivals. With just 500 tickets available it feels more like a house party than anything else, with a loyal group of return attendees year after year.

For obvious reasons, the unique gathering for music and art lovers in the gorgeous grounds of Killyon Manor won’t be going ahead the way it usually does this year.

However, they’ve come up with a new format with limited capacity that’s perfect for the times we’re living in, and tickets are available now. Introducing, Love Is A Stranger:

Love Is A Stranger is a weekend of limited capacity, safety conscious events at Killyon Manor from the 18th to the 22nd of August. You can expect outdoor concerts, DJ picnics and delicious food and drink from some of Ireland’s favourite vendors. The organisers are describing it as a “gentle return to the manor”, which hits the nail on the head. All social distancing measures have been carefully considered; tickets will be sold in pods of four or six and you’ll be asked to stay in your pods for the entirety of the performance. Masks will be worn in covered areas or areas of higher proximity to other attendees not in your pod and social distancing will be maintained at all times. The line up includes David Kitt, Jape, Aoife Nessa Frances and more.

There’s no camping at this year’s event, but if you can’t wait to get back into a festival tent you’ll be excited to hear that there are tickets available for Another Love Story 2022 now. It’s never too early to get planning, right?
