Naming a baby is a huge responsibility that you cannot take likely.
Irish names are renowned for being as beautiful as the country itself but sometimes we also take inspiration from overseas too.
It’s not enough to know which names are popular all over Ireland, we now need to know why they are so popular in certain counties.
Like Mayo for example: The top two names for a boy are Cillian and Conor, both of which could take inspiration from the highly talented and hugely popular Mayo football, Cillian O’Connor.
