These Luxury Chalets Look Like The Dreamiest Place To Stay In The Alps

AmyBell

If you’re looking to splash out and live in luxury in the French Alps, we’ve found your perfect getaway.

La Ferme du Lac Vert has a stunning boutique hotel and ski chalet near Morzine in the heart of the mountains.

It’s located an hour-and-a-half away from Geneva Airport and looks like it’s the dreamiest place to stay.

The chalet is run by Tipperary man Tadhg Ryan and is located in the village of Montriond.

The 19th century Savoyard farmhouse was built in 1842 and restored in 2010 by owners Lucy and Rob Mundell who transformed it into a magical space that screams luxury.

The chalet is particularly popular in the winter and summer for weekend breaks or ski holidays.

La Ferme du Lac Vert has two chalets that are available to rent. The main chalet, La Ferme du Lac Vert can accommodate anywhere from 24-30 guests across its 11 ensuite bedrooms, while the smaller chalet, La Petite Ferme can sleep up to six guests.

If you fancy staying in the larger chalet, La Ferme du Lac Vert rental for up to 24 guests for a week’s stay on a half board basis is priced at just over €1,010 per person sharing.

Although it is quite steep, the little added bonuses are worth it and you can save up for it – it even has an outdoor hot tub you can relax in each night.

The price includes an in-resort shuttle service, internet and Netflix access, stunning bathrobes and slippers and every day you get a full breakfast, afternoon tea and a five-course evening meal every night which includes wine (except for one evening).

So you wouldn’t have to spend a lot of money dining out as you’re basically covered and the views are simply breath-taking.

La Petite Ferme is the smaller chalet that sleeps up to six people with prices starting from nearly €1,120 per person sharing. It has two double ensuite rooms and a third king sized hand built bed that is located on the mezzanine.

The price for that chalet includes your own private chef and the same perks as the bigger chalet.

If you wanted a getaway with your other half or family, you can book solo rooms without having to rent the entire chalets. Prices for a seven night stay start from just over €1,110 per adult sharing.
