Smyths Toys confirm home delivery service will be available during lockdown

Smyths Toys have confirmed that home delivery and click and collect services will be available for the duration of Level 5 restrictions.

Large queues have been forming outside Smyths stores around the country since it was announced that Ireland will be entering Level 5 and that only essential retail will be allowed to remain open. However, the company has moved to reassure customers that they ‘have stock arriving every week to ensure we meet the demand.’

In a statement on their website, Smyths also said that ‘home delivery and click & collect services will be available throughout the lockdown period.’ Click & collect customers will be able to pick up their purchases from the front of the store, with orders held for two days. Customers must bring a photo ID and if they are unable to collect, someone else can collect on their behalf as long as they have permission.

Level 5 restrictions are scheduled to remain in place until December 1.
