The Application Process For Male Rose Of Tralee Escorts Is Now Open

The Rose of Tralee has come a long way from its humble beginnings in 1959 to the social media sensation it is today. That’s in no small part down to the level of female contestants who have graced the festival over the years, but what of the lads who stand by their side throughout the week?

The contribution of the male escorts often goes unnoticed but by all accounts it seems like great craic to get involved. The festival has announced that the application process for this year’s festival has now begun but there are certain criteria laid out to ensure lads are eligible, namely:

1) He must have reached the age of 21 by January 1

2) He must not have turned 31 on or prior to September 1

3) He must be unmarried and never have been married

4) He must have been born in Ireland or have Irish ancestry 

and finally 

5) He must be available for the International Festival events from August 15 to 21 in Tralee, with the event broadcast live on RTE on August 19 and 20.

Each candidate will be charged an application fee and should he be chosen as a Rose Escort, he will be required to obtain sponsorship of €1500. Have you got what it takes? Get your application in here by March 20.
