Ever wondered which Irish county has the most pubs per person? Stupid question, of course you have.
According to figures released as part of AIB’s Pubs Outlook 2018, Mayo tops the list with one pub for every 323 people. At the other end of the scale, Dublin has one boozer for every 1,649 of its residents.

Mayo was followed by Kerry (one pub for every 344 people), Tipperary (350) and Clare (383).
Cork is the county with the most pubs with a total of 955 ahead of Dublin’s 772. Laois had the least amount of pubs with 123 while Offaly has 126.
Well, at least Mayo have won something this year.
