Today is #WorldMentalHealthDay and for the last 2 years I’ve spent my days revolving around anxiety. I would wake up to that empty pain of nausea in my stomach. My bed would be soaked in sweat. My hair stuck to my forehead. My home a lot less colorful, less warm. Everything feels lonely. You could be sat in your favorite place and still feel like you’re a stranger. A stranger who doesn’t know anyone. Each day feels like the first day of school. Each day feels like a birthday party that you’re not invited to. Each day feels like you’re waking up to go back to sleep. It’s a horrible cycle. You learn tips and tricks on the way. Meet and talk with people with similar problems. You learn how to deal with it and although it seems like the worst thing in the world, please remember that everything is okay. Everything is just fine.

Celebrating 4 years of #pippasfashionfactory today! 4 years! ???? I can’t believe it’s been that long. I’ll never forget the fear of getting up on stage that day in Wicklow. My voice and knees were trembling. My husband & sister would catch my eye from the back of the room as if to say ‘cooommmmeee on! Keep her lit’ ???? it took a lot of courage for me to start hosting my own events. It was only a few weeks after our Mum Louise passed away suddenly too- I thought about cancelling it and then I thought, no! She’d hate that. Here we are 4 years later producing an event that I’m SO proud of! It’s a girly day out- a bit of fluff- a chance to have fun & forget about your kiddies or responsibilities for the afternoon.. but from meeting so many women over the years it’s also so much more than that, it’s about getting together- empowering one another & giving eachother a boost ☺️❤️ thank you from the bottom of my heart to everyone that’s support me, If it wasn’t for you ladies attending, I wouldn’t be able to still do it today xx (& to my team, they know they’re top class, because I tell them all the time- thank you ✨)
