The National Lottery has confirmed that the winning ticketholders of Tuesday’s EuroMillions Plus prize of €500,000 have made contact with the National Lottery.
The winning ticket has been verified and arrangements are now being made for them to collect their prize.
The 18 person syndicate have been confirmed as a group of administration staff from Portiuncula hospital in Ballinasloe, Galway.
The winning numbers in the plus draw were: 13, 15, 22, 25 and 41.
Their Quick Pick ticket was bought the day of the draw at the Oasis Shop which caters for hospital patients, visitors and workers.
Trish O’Donoghue, manager of the Aramark owned Oasis Store in the hospital said: ”This is absolutely crazy. Since we opened the doors this morning, we have been inundated with well-wishers and hopeful customers who are checking their tickets! We are genuinely over the moon for whoever the winner is.”
There was no winner of Tuesday’s Euromillions BIG €115 million jackpot which means that Friday’s jackpot now rolls over to a whopping €130 million.
The numbers for the main draw last night were: 8, 17, 28, 34 and 38 and the Lucky Stars were 6 and 12.
There was thousands of Irish winners in the main draw so get checking those tickets to see if you were one of them.
