Fancy yourself a bit of a pumpkin carving connoisseur? Now you can put those skills to good use!
The Loughcrew café in Meath is hosting a pumpkin carving competition this week between the 25th and 30th October. The winner will win family tickets to their showing of Alice In Wonderland that is to take place between November and December.

The rules are simple. Drop your pumpkin into the café before the 30th October, where they’ll put it on display once they’ve taken your contact details. Visitors will be able to admire the competitors, and the café will then choose a winner on the 30th October.
The Alice In Wonderland show at Loughchew’s Enchanted Garden is not a prize you’ll want to miss out on. The website says of the show: “the tale of Alice in Wonderland is imagined through an evolving landscape of electric light, installation and sound.” Sounds like a magical experience, and free tickets will make it only sweeter.
So what are you waiting for? Get your hands on some pumpkins and get carving.
