Getting yourself together to go for an evening dip can be a bit of a faff but this new Irish app will definitely help simplify the process. And while it won’t pack your bag or remind you to bring a towel, it will help you find info on high tide times for over 50 swimming spots around Ireland all in one handy location.

A project brought to you by Fuchsia MacAree and Brian Rogers, High Tides is a new Irish web app page which gives sea swimmers info on – yep, you guessed it – high tides.

Complete with adorable illustrations  (courtesy of Fuchsia), the webpage has details on high tide times for over 50 swimming spots across the country. Saying that they’re happy to update the page with new locations, all they ask is that you let ’em know if there’s somewhere they’ve missed.

Users can also opt to download the info for their chosen swimming spot as an illustrated calendar this month, making the whole process all the more pain-free.

Set it as your screensaver, print it off and hang it on the fridge, send it into your sea swimmers WhatsApp group… whatever you do with it, just make sure it’s easily accessible for whenever you feel like heading off for a dip.
