The world’s largest Penneys has opened its doors and it has everything you’ll ever need from a day’s shopping under one roof.
The new Primark (its UK name) flagship store is spread out over five floors, employs over 1,000 members of staff and is their largest store to date at 160,000 sq ft.
As well as the usual offering of clothes, accessories and homeware, there’s a Disney-inspired café, a Mezz restaurant and even a custom t-shirt lab.
Their Disney café is the only Disney-licensed eatery outside of their official theme parks and cruises.
Just like the London flagship, the new Birmingham Primark has a dedicated Hogwarts Wizarding World area with themed Harry Potter clothes and accessories.
They’ve also got a personalised shopping service, a blow-dry bar by the hugely popular Duck & Dry chain, Mills barbers, coffee kiosks and a Primarket café.
Customers will be encouraged to donate their pre-loved clothes and shoes from other brands via the store’s recycling scheme.
Primark’s director of new business development, Tim Kelly, said: “Our customers can expect a great experience at Primark Birmingham High Street.
“They can spend time with friends and family, eat great food, recharge and have fun, and find everything under one roof, including fashion, beauty and homeware – all at an amazing price.
“We’re proud to bring this great store and everything it has to offer, to Birmingham.”
