You can book a tour to meet and feed seals in Wexford

Katy Thornton

Seals are just the puppies of the sea!

Okay, so you can’t exactly own a seal, but you can visit them at this Wexford sanctuary. We can’t stop watching videos from the Seal Rescue Ireland page, we’re just obsessed. Is there anything more precious than seeing a seal pup in a bath tub? We think not.

The Visitor Centre is based beside Courtown harbour in Wexford. The tour is one hour long and involves a behind the scenes look at what the sanctuary does on a daily basis. You will help prepare the seals’ food, and be able to feed them in their rehabilitation pools. On the tour you will also learn how the seals are rehabilitated and the importance of the work done at the centre. The tours are done outdoors, so make sure to wrap up if visiting during these colder months.

You can book a tour HERE. Tickets cost €20 per person, and you will receive a €5 discount if you want to adopt a seal.

We bet that really seals the deal for you.
