In case you’ve been living under a rock, Galway will take on Waterford in the All-Ireland Senior Hurling Final this week.
The stakes are high, especially given that fact that the teams haven’t met in the final for over 20 years, and excitement is definitely building in the West.
Galway City Council confirmed this week that they will be showing the big game in Eyre Square on Sunday afternoon and now McGettigan’s have created a cocktail dedicated to the occasion.
According to The Irish Mirror, the Joe Canning Daiquiri will set you back €6 and is a blend of vodka, strawberry puree, strawberry essence, cranberry juice, fresh lime juice and fresh cream.
Made in the famous maroon and white of Galway, fans will be hoping that they’ll be sinking a few of these in celebration after the final whistle goes!
