Temperatures in Ireland are set to soar next week as the country enters the first phase of the government’s roadmap to reopening.
Subject to expected approval today, Monday May 18 will be the first day of phase 1 of Ireland’s roadmap to recovery. Among the provisions that are set to be allowed are outdoor workers returning to work, the opening of public sports amenities with social distancing and the gathering of up to four friends or family outdoors, withing 5km of a person’s home.
With the slight loosening of restrictions on the way, many will be hoping for some nice weather and there’s certainly good news on that front. Temperatures are set to reach the low 20s by the middle of next week, with sunny spells during the day and mild nights.
Before that though, Saturday and Sunday will be mostly cloudly but as Dolly Parton once said, if you want the rainbow you gotta put up with the rain. A more detailed outlook for next week’s weather can be found here.
The government released their roadmap to recovery a fortnight ago and it’s set to be approved by cabinet today. You can read more about it via this link.
